Healthmedic Research is a medical and pharmaceutical specialist company established in  2003, a wholly - owned Bumiputra firm and is based in Cheras.  At its initial stage, Healthmedic focus in providing ‘Medical specialist consultancy’ in the various field  of Medicine, in particular Dermatology and Respiratory.

The company rapidly progress and despite it being newly established, Healthmedic Research has introduced at least two new scope of activity, that is, supply of Medical and pharmaceutical products and safety evaluation and testing of pharmaceutical products and material and medical devices.

Therefore the ‘Medical specialist consultancy division’ concentrate in providing medical consultancy services and as doctors, the consultants are registered with the General Medical Council. The Medical and Pharmaceutical supply division concentrates in the supply of medical and pharmaceutical products and medical devices to hospitals, clinics and pharmacies. The third division is testing of pharmaceutical products and medical devices as well as  research and development of new pharmaceutical products.   Healthmedic Research is registered with the ministry of finance for the above purpose. Healthmedic Research now has three major divisions for its activities as listed below:

  • Medical Consultancy Division
  • Pharmaceutical and Medical Supply Division
  • Product and Material Testing and Contract Research Division

Healthmedic Research experience in the combination of Medical Consultancy and pharmaceutical research and testing ensures clients high quality service . Healthmedic Research also understands the importance of research and development and as a company, Healthmedic Research must always be at  the forefront of medical technology. Though currently, the focus of Healthmedic Research is in contract testing and research,  it is now embarking on product development and is actively involved with research in the biomaterial with particular emphasis in ceramics for bone implant and amnion for wound dressing.
